A Strategy Alignment & Activation Lab for Nonprofit Leaders

Join us in person for an engaging session where you'll dive into activating your strategic plan!

The Strategic Plan Activation Lab is a one-day, hands-on working session designed for nonprofit executive teams and senior leaders who want to ensure their implementation remains aligned with their strategic intent over time.

Strategic plans are created at a moment in time. Implementation unfolds in a dynamic environment shaped by change, pressure, and competing priorities. As that gap widens, even strong plans can lose clarity and focus. This lab creates space for leaders to pause, reflect, and fine-tune execution so it continues to support where the organization wants to go.

This session is designed to address the common drift that occurs between strategy and execution. Rather than starting over, participants recalibrate — clarifying what still matters, what needs adjustment, and how to strengthen follow-through.

You will leave with:

  • A sharper, plain-language set of strategic choices and a “stop doing” list.

  • Top priority translated into 90-day priorities with owners.

  • A practical scorecard with measures tied to your actions and key decisions.

  • A 30/60/90-day activation outline and meeting rhythm to sustain momentum.

FAQs

What should I bring?

1

Bring your current strategic plan (or draft), any existing scorecard/dashboard, and a laptop or tablet for live work. We'll provide printed Plan-on-a-Page templates as backup. No need to prepare anything in advance beyond reviewing your plan.

I've been to strategy workshops before—what's different?

2

Most workshops deliver templates. We deliver your customized outputs inspired by EOS/Traction tools adapted for nonprofits (no corporate jargon). You leave with a sharper plan, owned priorities, and implementation rhythm—ready for your next board or leadership meeting.

Can I attend solo or do we need a team?

3

Perfect for solo leaders who need personal clarity before engaging their team. Many attend alone, then return with colleagues for the next cohort. Mixed-org tables provide fresh peer insights without competitive overlap.

What experience level is this for?

4

Mid-journey leaders (6–18 months into plan implementation) get maximum value, but it's accessible for anyone with a current/draft strategic plan. Newer EDs use it to launch strong; veteran leaders use it to course-correct stalled plans.

Is this sales-y or consulting pitch?

5

Is lunch provided?

6

Do I need to complete pre-work?

7

Is this workshop safe for sharing sensitive information?

8

100% participant-focused. Our only "agenda" is your clearer priorities and stronger execution.

Yes, lunch is included in your registration fee. We'll send dietary accommodation details and final menu options to confirmed registrants 3–5 days before the workshop.

No formal pre-work is required. We will send a simple three-question reflection, 15 minutes max, one week prior to help you get the most out of your day. It's optional but recommended for deeper personal insights.

Yes—psychological safety is priority one. We use pattern-level discussions (no specific organizational details required), mixed-organization tables with opt-in disclosure, and clear confidentiality norms. Choose your comfort level throughout.

Full refunds available up to 7 days before the workshop. After that, we’ll work with you on transferring to a future cohort or partial credit toward consulting services. Contact us directly for flexibility.
